Car Insurance Smart (Car Insurance). 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback Titanium... In White?

2012 Ford Focus Hatchback Titanium... In White? Hey everyone, I am looking at the new 2012 ford focus. it is a really awesome car. What do you think of it in the white platinum metallic tri-coat? It is $495 extra. Now there are some amazing looking cars in white (ie Audi R8... !!) But what do you think of the focus in that white metallic color? I just dont want it to look like just another blahhh white car. I really liked the sterling gray but none of them have the features I really want (sport suspension, 18" wheels, myford touch, satellite radio, smartkey) Thanks!

I actually have the white platinum on my ford focus and I get compliments all the time! I think the extra is really worth it!! It really looks amazing and the light really hits it well. Plus, the car doesn't get too hot in the summer because of the white. a nice white is always a good choice...go for it!

Can't pay for my impounded car bill? I live in the state of Virginia and about 6 months ago I had a single car accident (lost control and got out of the road) and my car was impounded. I did not have the money to pay to get it out and the car was a total lost so I left it there. 6 months later I get a bill from a Collection Agency stating that I owe $2800 for the towing and storage fees. I can not pay that amount and I need to know if I don't pay the bill what will the consequences be...Will that be put on my credit report? Will it have any effects on my Drivers License? Will I be able to get tags from the DMV on the future? I appreciate the help. car insurance.

How many motorcycles did you own before owning your full size? I am a moderately small guy, I do own a Honda Rebel (250CC). I am completely comfortable with it. I am more just curious as to how many bikes you had before you owned your largest bike. I am trying to figure out what steps to take from a 250. I know that it is about riding them and getting comfortable and having fun. I don't know how big I want to go as I continue to learn more and get comfortable I think I will determine that at some point. So what was your size path? Thanks for any insight. car insurance.

Smart . Can I Use Stop Leak in Car Radiator?

Radiator stop leak is a product that is designed to repair small leaks in radiators, hoses and other automotive cooling components. While stop leak sealants have some drawbacks, their use is inexpensive and is not harmful.
Advantages
Stop leak sealants are both easy to use and inexpensive. The sealant is added to the coolant in the radiator and allowed to circulate through the cooling system. Many radiator sealants will also treat and repair small leaks in seals and gaskets that might not have been noticed as well as work to prevent the development of these leaks.
Disadvantage
Leaks repaired by a stop leak coolant may reappear over time as many leaks are caused by internal corrosion in the radiator. While the stop leak sealant may seal the leak, the damage caused by the corrosion will remain, and new leaks may appear in the same area.
Other Considerations
When using radiator stop leak products, car owners should carefully follow the product directions for best results. Opening the heater core by turning the heat control up in the car will allow the sealant to flow through the heater core as well.

Smart . Radiator Water Leak

A radiator water leak, or more properly, coolant leak, is a minor problem that can cause major damage. Repairing a radiator leak is important to prevent further damage that can be difficult and expensive to repair.
Causes
Radiators leak for a number of reasons, but primarily due to internal corrosion or physical damage. As a radiator corrodes, the normal vibration and movement that a radiator experiences can cause a leak. Physical damage from a collision can easily rupture the thin metal used in the radiator.
Problems
A leaking radiator can cause a number of problems for an engine. The resulting low level of coolant may cause an engine to overheat which can result in a cracked head, blown head gasket or other internal engine problems. A low level of coolant may also cause water pump failure as the pump is lubricated by the coolant.
Repair
Small leaks in a radiator may be fixed by adding a radiator leak sealant to the coolant. However, these additive sealants often only result in a temporary fix. Small radiator leaks can be permanently fixed by brazing, soldering, or the use of an epoxy glue designed for this purpose. It is often best to replace radiators that have major damage or severe corrosion.

If you find yourself faced with the job of changing a tire and you have nothing with which to block the wheels, park near the curb with the wheels turned in. This may not keep you from getting hurt if the car rolls off the jack, but at least innocent motorists and pedestrians won't have to deal with a runaway driverless car! Be sure that your gearshift is hi Park (or in First if you have a manual transmission) and that the emergency brake is on before you jack it up. The only time you don't want the emergency brake on is when you 118 Car Insurance 1993 ford escort gthatchback2d 376601

have to be able to rotate a rear wheel or remove rear brake drums to inspect the brakes. In such a case, make sure that the front wheels are blocked securely, preferably with chocks designed for the purpose. (Chocks are available at a low cost at auto supply stores, and they stow neatly in the trunk.) 1 Q Part I: Getting Started. Once you've observed the safety precautions just listed, follow these steps: 1. If you're going to remove a wheel to change a tire or check your brakes, remove the hubcap (if there is one) and loosen the lug nuts before you jack up the car. Once the car is jacked up, the wheel will turn freely, which makes getting a hubcap off harder and makes starting the nuts almost impossible. Instructions for removing a hubcap and loosening lug nuts are in the next section, "How to Change a Tire."

2. Place the jack under the part of the vehicle that it should contact when raised. If you are using jack stands, place them near the jack. Where you place your jack depends on whether you're planning to do a one-wheel job, such as tire changing or brake checking, or a two-wheel, whole-end repair job. To find out the proper place to position the jack for your particular vehicle, check your owner's manual. If you have no manual, ask the service department at your dealership to show you the proper place, or follow these rules: Never place the jack so that the weight of the vehicle rests on something that can bend, break, or give. If your manual is incomprehensible or lacks this kind of information, try to place the jack so that it touches either the car frame or the big bar that supports the front wheel suspension. You can also place jacks near the rear-wheel axle. Until you become more proficient at this, I'd stick to jacking up one wheel at a time. It may mean more work, but the practice is good for you. 3. lift the vehicle by using the jack. How you accomplish this depends on the type of jack you're using (see Figure 1-1): • If you have a hydraulic jack, place the handle into the appropriate location and pump up and down. Use nice, even strokes, taking the jack handle from its lowest to its highest point on each stroke to cut down on the labor involved. • If you have a tripod jack, turn the crank.
